Holiday 2020 LitERARY hub Ads

This is a set of holiday books ads, which appeared online at Literary Hub throughout December 2020. The ten featured titles all had received a rating of “Rave” on Literary Hub‘s review compilation site: Book Marks. This site compiles book reviews from all over the literary realm. They then rate these reviews as either Rave, Positive, Mixed or Pan. Once the ratings are averaged, a book is added to the site for curious readers to peruse.

For these ads, my colleagues gave me the brilliant ad headline of “Give the Gift of a Book Marks Rave.” I decided to design the ads as a playful riff of the Book Marks website design.

There were five nonfiction and five fiction books featured in these ads. I split each group into their own sets of ads and changed the CTA accordingly to “SHOP NONFICTION” or “SHOP FICTION.” The ads originally led to a landing page that held retail links to all 10 titles.
